Vendor Spotlight: CPI Automation & Control Solutions
By Mark Inboden
UCEC is fortunate to enjoy high-quality business relationships with customers, employees, vendors, manufacturers and partners. Each has a place in the story of UCEC.
Today, I wanted to introduce you to CPI , a valuable UCEC vendor and fellow Colorado company. CPI Automation & Control Solutions is a leader in providing high-tech automation products for the Rocky Mountain region. Independently owned and operated, CPI has been in business since 1948.
UCEC has had a relationship with CPI going back about 25 years. Tim Clark, Senior Account Manager at CPI, thoughtfully provided me with a glimpse into this trusted vendor’s company culture. An emphasis on continuity permeates the organization: their employees have years of tenure at CPI. When a customer like UCEC calls in to CPI for assistance or an order, we’re likely to speak with the same people each time. This makes for a great working relationship between our two companies.
Tim told us that CPI considers themselves a partner to their customers. “CPI is committed to lasting partnerships with our customers and vendors,” he said. “Through the knowledge and collaboration gained in these relationships, we are able to help shape our company and the products and services we provide. Our goal is to understand what drives each customer’s business towards success and offer the absolute best automation and control solutions available.”
Since CPI provides the “raw material,” so to speak, to companies such as UCEC, they have a lot of experience suggesting innovative solutions. “In this business, there are different ways to get to the finish line,” Tim says. “And we try to figure out the most cost-effective and efficient way to get the customer what they need, and as importantly, when they need it.”
So, that’s the story of another valuable vendor who helps UCEC succeed. From time to time, I’ll share additional vendor success stories in this space. Thank you for visiting the UCEC blog, and if we can help you in any way, please reach out.
